I had steak with broccoli and salad - they were very accommodating letting me have vegetable instead of potato and service was efficient and quick. I did, however, eat at their 24-hour restaurant. I'm not one of the fans of the Oyster bar - I'm just not that into seafood or waiting on lines. the Casino is about the same as ever but updated, doesn't feel old at all. I was able to find some $10 craps late night and daytime and I thoroughly enjoyed many hours playing. The casino, unlike the rest of Las Vegas it seems, had reasonable minimums. Very nice, very comfortable, TV and all the expected amenities, bathroom was clean and modern. I'd say it would be on par with something like a Hampton or even a Hilton hotel. The room was much nicer than the old motel-structure rooms I used to get here.
But the room I got was very up-to-date - I believe I heard they recently updated everything. I've stayed int he tower once before, a very long time ago (over 10 years I'm sure).
Well, they are now gone and have been replaced by more indoor space with non-room facilities as well as a new pool area (which I couldn't really try out as it was cold during my stay). In the past, I've always stayed in the little motel type building(s) out back, and I liked them. I've gotten room offers before and used them, I have always liked this place. Stayed 3 nights 2nd week of December (tues thru fri) with a room offer from them.
